The novel of the Russian writer and publicist Zakhar Prilepin Sankya was first published in 2006 and then was repeatedly reprinted in Russia and in most large European countries. The novel became the finalist of the National Bestseller prizes, and the Russian Bouquer, and the Yasnaya Polyana Prize was awarded with the wording “For the outstanding work of modern literature”.
