The textbook is written in accordance with the current program for the morphology of the Russian language for students of philological faculties of higher educational institutions. The material in the book is considered taking into account tradition and new theoretical studies in the field of morphology. The textbook introduces various points of view existing in linguistics on the same problem. In necessary cases, synchronous lighting of language phenomena includes elements of historical commenting. Theoretical provisions are illustrated by a large number of examples. The practical part gives the order and samples of morphological analysis. In samples, each analysis of the analysis contains detailed explanations. In the comments to the analysis, attention is drawn to the difficulties found in the analysis of language phenomena, possible typical errors are indicated. The material of the textbook is correlated with the school course of the Russian language.
