Pushkin"s poetic allegory dictionary

This dictionary is the first attempt to systematize and interpret the emblem of Pushkin’s poetry. The dictionary presents only part of the poetic formulas, but the decoding even of this part opens up a wide panorama of historical, mythological and literary plots that served as the basis for the Pushkin allegorical manner of writing. It shows on it how erudite the poet was and how freely he felt in the elements of traditional cultural symbolism. The author, Valery Pavlovich Somov, fully managed to create an exciting and substantial book that reveals the true meaning of Pushkin’s poetic allegories.
