The monograph offers the understanding of the Slavic dialect continuum, taking into account topographic and linguistic criteria. It is dedicated to the theoretical problems of linguistic geography related to the interpretation of the linguistic map in order to determine the chrono-top -ogloss. The monograph is based on the materials of the Slavic linguistic atlas, which ensures the reliability and reliability of the results. The identified lexical isogloses are interpreted by the author in the genetic, area and typological aspects.
Analyzing the maps of the General Slavic linguistic atlas, the author identifies the most ancient range of the Pre -Slavic lexemes and establishes their localization.
