The monograph is a comparative analysis of the created text of the political caricature in Arabic and French. The study reveals the meaning of the concept of created text and is proposed to consider its components with examples of political caricature. In the focus of the author’s attention, there are cultural and specific features of the created text of the political caricature in Arabic and French at verbal and non-verbal levels. The study showed the universal nature of this phenomenon and the presence of common features at the level of creating the imagery, representation and implementation of semiotic codes, the use of lexical units and grammaticals.
The monograph is addressed to teachers, graduate students and students studying in philology, political science, translation studies, and can also be interesting to a wide range of readers.
