The monograph is devoted to the study of the structural and semantic characteristics of the terminological vocabulary of the oil and gas industry. The results of the interaction of different languages in this area are considered. The terminating processes and structural types of lexical units of this terminology are described quite in detail. The issue of frequency belonging to the terms of oil and gas hyoids is being studied, and the Russian-French dictionaries of oil and gas terms are overview. Being the most unique, this terminology to this day continues to be one of the most complex and poorly studied terminosystems.
