The book of the famous classic philologist Karl Reinhardt does not come down to a naive idea that myth is just a fantastic story about gods and people, a product of a certain type of archaic worldview and thinking that describes the forces of nature or social institutions in allegorical form. Reinhardt does not engage in an abstract study of the myth, he refers to the myth as a cosmos, which can only be understood from the inside, entering it as in his life world.
Making the goal not to study, but the comprehension of Plato, Reinhardt presents us with a completely new image - the creator and reformer of the myth
