The manual consists of two parts. The first describes the methodology as a theory of foreign education and the issues of goals, content, methods, means and forms of foreign language education in universities of various profiles are considered. The second part sets out the technology of foreign language education in universities, including a description of the teacher’s work on the formation of intercultural pronunciation, lexical and grammatical skills and the development of intercultural skills in various types of speech activity: reading, auditing, speaking and writing as forms of communication. Separately, the problems of planning the educational process and the organization of classes on speech practice and modern alternative technologies of intercultural foreign education at the university are considered. When presenting the material, the authors took into account new approaches to education and new achievements of methodological science.
