Each poem in this edition is given first with a literal translation into Russian and lexical commentary included in it (in brackets), and then repeated without translation. Since the translation and commentary are given not separately from the text, but “integrated” into it, accompanying individual sentences and parts of sentences, a poem, no matter how difficult in linguistic, it inevitably becomes clear. This approach makes it possible to read Italian poetry in the original even a reader who is just beginning to master Italian
