Linguistic mosaic

The book is the result of many years of teaching by the author of a number of linguistic disciplines, primarily courses on the history and theory of writing. It includes the materials of copyright tasks with extensive linguistic and cultural comments that help to understand the place of phenomena under consideration in linguistic problems. In addition, the book includes the tasks of the Russian language for schoolchildren and for foreigners studying the Russian language. The last section gives theoretical information on the history and methods of deciphering.
The book serves to popularize scientific linguistic knowledge and continues the tradition of publications, the motto of which has become “linguistics for all”, it will be interesting to linguists of various profiles, as well as historians, culturalists, teachers and all the problems of the language in a wide cultural and historical context
