The collection is devoted to multidisciplinary analysis of the language, representation of the world and thinking of the Amazon tribe of Pirach (N) (Piraha) The language of this tribe has some "exotic" features: the absence of numeral, colorful names, the grammatical category of number, passive, recursion, etc. At the same time, the Pirach Indians distinguish a number of specific cognitive features: "The principle of imperative of perception", which limits the picture of the world of Indians here and here and Now ", inability (according to Everett) to the account, etc. The articles of the collection analyzes the indicated and some other properties of the language and thinking of the Indians and various hypotheses regarding the causes of their occurrence are expressed. Of particular interest is the question of the relationship of such rare cognitive and linguistic features of the language and the worldview of the Pirach Indians, since the detection of such ties sheds light on the interdependence of their culture and speech -mental activity.
