The collection was compiled according to the conference "Italian language and culture: communications, contacts, borrowing" organized in 2016 by the Russian-Italian center of the Russian State University.
The articles presents studies on a wide range of topics from the letters of merchants of the XIX century. And the diaries of pilgrims on the Holy Land to the autobiographical prose of the writers of the mid -twentieth century, from the Dante motifs of Velikir Khlebnikov to the influence of Dante on American romantics, from the general issues of the typology of languages and dialects of Italy to the lexicographic portrait of one characteristic word.
