The book is an adaptation of the famous science fiction novel by the famous English writer Herbert Wells (1866-1946) "Invisible Man". The novel tells of the tragic fate of the physicist of Griffin, who invented a remedy that makes the human body invisible. Invisibility was to allow the brilliant scientist to change the whole world, but instead his invention changed him, turning him into a dangerous madman, and led to the most tragic consequences.
This manual will help students of high school prepare for a single state exam in English.
The text of the manual is adapted for educational purposes to the level of Upper Intermediate. Each chapter is accompanied by a comment, translating difficult words and expressions, as well as exercises in the format of the exam, aimed at the formation of the communicative competence of students.
