Introduction to hieroglyphics. Methodological guidelines

These methodological recommendations are designed for beginners to study Chinese hieroglyphic writing. The elements, graphic structures and rules for writing hieroglyphs are described, the main stages of the development of Chinese writing are highlighted.
The main issues of the methodology of the phased formation of the skills of perception of hieroglyphic signs at the initial stage of training are considered. Some general and private recommendations on the organization of educational material and exercises are given. The optimal conditions for strong memorization of hieroglyphs are determined.
Recommendations can be used as an appendix to the textbooks “Fundamentals of the Chinese Language”, “Practical course of the Chinese language” 1 year students can use for additional training during independent work or in the audience under the guidance of the teacher
