The discipline "Introduction to scientific communication" is included in the list of mandatory disciplines and aims to familiarize students with the main language parameters of modern English -language oral and written scientific communication. Within the framework of the course, linguistic features of scientific discourse at all levels of the language system are considered, taking into account extralinguistic factors accompanying the situation of English -speaking academic communication. In addition, this course is aimed at developing practical skills in using English in professional and scientific activities.
