The purpose of the manual is to familiarize students with the peculiarities of the compilation of commercial correspondence in Italian, as well as to form and develop the skills of translation of texts functioning in the field of foreign economic activity necessary for the successful implementation of translation activities in the field of commercial translation. Each section includes an introductory text belonging to the genre of commercial correspondence. After the text, exercises are given aimed at checking the degree of assimilation by students of new material, as well as consolidating the previously completed. The text and individual exercises are equipped with a dictionary that includes both terms that are directly related to the subject of the text and the vocabulary of the common plan. Applications contain information without which commercial correspondence and foreign economic documentation in Italian do not cost: the names of Italian provinces, reductions used in business correspondence, the names of posts adopted in Italian companies, and international conditions for the supply of Incoterms.
The manual is designed for use in the training courses in special areas, in particular in the field of commercial translation, provided for by the programs of undergraduate, specialty and graduate of both linguistic and non -linguistic institutions of higher education.
