The book includes legends about King Arthur and the knights of the round table, who left a special mark in the history and literature of England. King Arthur and his faithful knights appear before us in these medieval legends as courageous and noble warriors who perform glorious exploits for the unification of their country. The texts of legends are adapted for educational purposes to the level of Pre-Intermediate and are supplemented by exercises for working and consolidating the skills of owning grammatical and lexical material, as well as linguistic and studies commentary. The book is addressed to students in grades 7-8 of schools, lyceums, gymnasiums. It is accompanied by an audio application. The recording can be used both for teaching auditing (perception of speech at ear), and for listening in parallel with reading the text
