The purpose of the manual is to ensure a clear organization of the educational work of students in the study of the discipline "History of the Russian language. Historical grammar ". For each topic, control issues are proposed to highlight the main points in the material being studied, which is useful not only for work during the school year, but also for preparing for the test and exam. The manual also presents reference information, memos, schemes and exercises (which, however, does not exclude the use of other exercises in the educational process), as well as plans and samples of morphological analysis of words of various parts of speech in relation to the Old Russian language. The manual is attached recommendations for the translation of ancient Russian texts and the terminological dictionary, as well as approximate plans for the characteristics of historical changes in phonetics and morphology.
