Grammar of comedy in German prose farce

The monograph is devoted to a linguistic analysis of the texts of a specific and significant literary genre for the German culture - a prose knit during the heyday (XV -XVI centuries) Studies of the shunks, currently available, are few. These are mainly the work of German researchers of the second half of the XX century. In this work, it is proposed to take a look at the non -modern literary works from the point of view of the grammar of the text, we offer possible answers to the questions: why does the comic effect in Shvanka and what linguistic and, first of all, grammatical means express it? How is an incompetent comic text built and what features of its text construction contribute to the implementation of comicism? The focus is two text categories: reference and composition. In our opinion, the consideration of precisely these categories allows us to solve the task - to explain the comic effect at the textual level. In addition to the research part, the monograph contains two applications. The first gives 28 texts of shunks analyzed during the study, the second application contains schemes for the analysis of the works of the Shvank genre.
