The proposed textbook is aimed at the formation of sympathy skills in graduate students of articles from German -speaking sources, as well as the ability to present in German their scientific research in accordance with the requirements of the work program of the discipline “German for graduate students”. In the manual, the training material is distributed. Each lesson consists of two blocks: text reference and a dissertation presentation. In an accessible form, methodological instructions are given on effective work on the text and transmitting its main content. In addition, the most common words are given and cliche used by speakers in the presentation of their scientific research. The manual is primarily intended for graduate students preparing for the delivery of a candidate minimum in German, but can also be used in classes at a practical course in German with students
