In the colossal creative heritage of the author of the "three musketeers" and "Countess de Monsoro" there was a place and several dozens of works of "small forms", also, like his "senior brothers", illuminated by the genius of great romance. The proposed publication included two such works - the novels "Don Martinsh di Freitash" and "Pedro cruel" - dedicated to the dramatic pages of the history of medieval Portugal and Spain.
Novels are adapted according to the method of Ilya Frank: equipped with a literal translation into Russian and the necessary lexical and grammatical commentary (without simplifying the text of the original) The uniqueness of the method lies in the fact that memorization of words and expressions occurs due to their repeatability, without memorization and the need to use the dictionary.
The publication contributes to the effective development of the language, can serve as an addition to the curriculum.
