Textbook "French. Grade 2. In two parts, "intended for students of grade 2, learning French as the first foreign language. The purpose of the “French in the future” course is the development of the student’s personality by means of a foreign language and the formation of the ability to intercultural and interpersonal communication. The materials of the textbook in conjunction with other components of the teaching materials ensure the achievement of developing and educational goals of learning at the initial stage. The textbook makes it possible to develop the communicative and game abilities of students, are the basis for the formation of interest in the culture of France. The methodological concept of this textbook is based on a communicative approach to teaching a foreign language, the principle of sociocultural development of students by means of a foreign language, personality -oriented teaching the French language, which meets modern requirements for a foreign language textbook. The publication of the textbook is complemented by a new section for reading "Lectures", which includes light entertaining texts built on the language communicative material, poems, songs, sociocultural realities, comics, various creative tasks based on project activities.
