In this training manual, the authors highlighted the main provisions of the reform of the French judicial system. The manual pursues a variety of goals: reading and understanding of legal literature, improving the skills of translating specialized authentic relevant texts, understanding of monologic speech within the framework of the studied material. As a result of training, the student not only improves linguistic -based competencies, but also acquires speaking skills in situations of professional communication. To create a training manual, the educational literature of the Dalloz publishing house, which specializes in the publication of legal textbooks and legal literature, was used.
