The name of the famous English writer Rudyard Kipling is associated primarily with the story of Mowgli - a boy who grew up in a flock of wolves. However, many fairy tales also came out from under his pen, the main characters of which often became animals. This collection includes such famous works as: “A cat who walked on its own”, “Ricky-Tikki-Tavi”, “Like an elephant, a trunk appeared”, “How a leopard became spotted”, etc. The text of fairy tales is accompanied by exercises, comments and a dictionary.
