The monograph shows that over the past 50 years, theoretical linguistics is in crisis, since it is many mutually contrary to doctrines. The evolutionary-synthetic theory of the language is aimed at overcoming this crisis. It implements a multidisciplinary approach describing the language a) in evolutionary and ontogenetic development and b) in close interaction with other human subsystems: thinking, activity, memory, social interaction, etc. The language is defined as a dual system developing in ontogenesis: a universal sensory hyper Linguistic -specific functional hyoids, where sensory hyoids are used to describe the "visible" (accessible to sensual perception) of the world, and functional hyoids - to describe the conceivable ("comprehended mind) of the world. At the same time, the lexical and grammatical meanings of sensory hyoids make up the base of the universal language of thought. Within the framework of the presented approach, many problematic issues are explained: the diversity and unity of languages, the essence of the human language and its difference from the proto -language, the language classification of fragments of reality, the mechanisms of the child’s assimilation of lexical and grammatical meanings, the factors of socially determined development of the language, etc.
The book considers a wide range of issues relating to human knowledge, glint- and anthropogenesis, universal cognitive structures of the representation of objects, actions and situations, therefore it will be interesting not only to linguists, but also to psychologists, anthropologists, sociologists, philosophers
