English with Jack London. Love of life

The proposed collection includes the best samples of the small prose of Jack London, such as "love of life", "white silence", "thousand dozen", "laying out a fire" and others, which included in the gold fund of American literature.
The text of the stories is adapted according to the method of Ilya Frank: is equipped with a transcription, a literal translation into Russian and the necessary lexical and grammatical commentary (without simplifying the text of the original).
The uniqueness of the method lies in the fact that remembering words and expressions occurs due to their repeatability, without memorizing and the need to use the dictionary.
The manual contributes to the effective development of the language, can serve as an addition to the curriculum. It is intended for students for studying English on their own, as well as for all those interested in English culture.
