The monograph discusses the linguoculturological specificity of the English language of Africa on the example of the Nigerian version of the English language. The Nigerian version of the English language is analyzed as a macro -system, which is a hybrid formation based on the norms of standard English and the autochthonous languages of Nigeria. Functioning on the territory of Nigeria, English is forced to adapt as much as possible to the norms of Nigerian culture and accept the realities of Nigeria autochthonous languages. The author takes into account the specifics of the local linguocultra and the classification of the language realities of the key autochthonous languages of Nigeria - House, Yoruba and IGBO is offered. Language realities, typical of the Nigerian version of the English language, are able to reflect the specifics of the traditional and modern cultures of the peoples of Nigeria to the highest degree.
