English for construction specialists

This textbook is intended for students of non -linguistic social specialties with standard (205 hours) volume of teaching of the discipline "Foreign language". The purpose of the manual is the development of learning skills to read literature in the specialty, to extract the necessary information from it, to make messages using special terminology. Text material is selected from original sources.
The manual consists of 10 parts. Each part includes several sections, in each of which the text and blocks of exercises on the formation of lexical and grammatical skills, reading, speaking and writing skills. The manual also contains a brief grammatical section on grammatical topics of manuals with exercises, as well as additional tasks based on the methods and techniques of corps linguistics. In addition, at the very beginning, the so -called "warm -up" exercises are presented.
