In the book of the outstanding Kazakh poet, prose writer, playwright Kapan Satybaldin (1917? 1969), his play "Ayagoz Aru" is presented. For the first time, the translation of the play "Ayagoz Aru" is published from the Kazakh language into Russian under the name "Beauty Ayagoz". This is a fascinating optimistic play, which is based on elements of Kazakh folklore. In one of the raids on the lands of the Khan Dalbasy, the soldiers of the Khan Shatshaleki, who is enraging with him, capture the daughter of the poor Dalabay, the beauty Ayagoz. Unexpectedly, unexpectedly, a good fellow comes to the aid of the old man - a well -aimed shooter Taukel, a defender of all offended and weak. Taukel manifests his ingenuity, mind, dexterity and personal courage to save his beloved. The plot of the play captures the viewer, makes him empathize with the heroes, to be a direct participant in the competitions of the heroes taking place on the stage. The author skillfully introduces Kazakh folk proverbs and sayings, expressive epithets into the speech of heroes. The book presents the memoirs of the writer"s associates, as well as a detailed analysis of the first production of the play "Ayagoz Aru" in 1956 on the stage of the Alma-Ata Youth Theater. The role of the beauty Ayagoz in the performance of 1956 was brilliantly performed by the honored artist of Kazakhstan Tamara Kosubaeva.
