The manual consists of an adapted version of A. Dumas’s novel “Count Monte Cristo”, two post-text blocks of lexical-grammatical, test and creative tasks of a control and general nature, aimed at developing and improving the language, speech and country-study training of students, as well as historical and biographical Comments.
The main attention is paid to the formation of analytical reading skills, lexical-stylistic analysis of the text, the ability to conduct a discussion. Test tasks with alternative answers are taught by probabilistic forecasting techniques, improving students" reclamation activities.
