The monograph analyzes how American authors interpret the "Alien Word of" Russian Classics, trying to comprehend issues that are relevant for the present. The work distinguishes three main options for the reception of foreign cultural artistic discourse: mediation, hybridization and reaccation. Along with American classics such as S. Bellou, J. Salinger, F. Roth, D. Gardner, the study field includes modern authors of the Cultural Border Guardium, which is especially important for understanding the "post -depis" ethnic identity. Of course, Russian-American writers, the prose of which pays considerable attention among them, occupy a special place among them.
