The manual includes four sections and additional exercises. The sections discuss the basic stylistic techniques presented at various language levels. Each section contains a practical part aimed at consolidating theoretical provisions. Additional exercises make it possible to strengthen the obtained practical skills to determine the stylistic techniques, the functions they perform and the stylistic effects they create. The sources of exercises in the practical part of the manual were the works of classical and modern English -speaking authors, and Internet resources are sources of theoretical provisions and illustrative material.
