This monograph is devoted to the study of the features of Sanskrit grammar in the structure of simple and complex sentences. The study was carried out on the material of the text of Bhagavadgita - one of the most important monuments of ancient Indian culture and literature. In addition to the theoretical description of the features of the structure and functioning of syntactic units in one of the ancient Indo -European languages, a comparative analysis is carried out with similar constructions in the Russian language used to translation of the text of Bhagavadgita, some of the books of which are still not translated into Russian due to the complexity of understanding of the actual material and lack of algorithms of interpretation of structures of the ancient Indian language in the Russian language.
