The book "Language, Society and School" is devoted to the sociolingwist of school education. In it, there are problems such as the choice of language of education, language socialization, learning to second language, which are discursive practices, are considered on the material of various countries and languages. The most important questions that the authors are trying to answer can be articulated as how can I apply research methods developed by sociolinguistics, to the rich material that provides the school in our disposal? What new can inform us the sociolinguistics about what is happening in the school walls? What does the analysis of language processes on the school material for understanding the functioning of the language in society and society through the language? Where, ultimately, the intersection points between the language and social processes, for which the analysis of what is happening within school is fundamentally significant
