The book contains a brief essay of a linguistic theory meaning text with illustrations taken (mainly, but not only) from the Russian language. Chapter 1 outlines three main postulates of the SEND-Text: Natural Language There is a correspondence between the meanings and texts, the language description must be performed as its functional model, the language description should be stratified: semantics (meaning) - syntax (phrase) - morphology (word ) - sound (phonology) Chapter 2 explains the concept of a functional model in relation to natural languages. Then (Chapter 3) proposes a compressed characteristic of one particular model. Mean-text with illustrations from the Russian language: an overview of all linguistic representations on semantic, syntactic and morphological levels and all modules of language models that bind these views. Chapter 4 is devoted to two important problems of approaching the meaning of the text: semantic decompositions and limited lexical combativity (= lexical functions), the relationship between semantic components in the interpretation of the lexeme and the values of its lexical functions is particularly considered. Chapter 5 interprets five selected problems characterizing the approach to the meaning of the text: 1) the direction of the description should be from the meaning to the text (on the example of Spanish semi-welded and Russian bininomial structures), 2) the system of concepts and terms for linguistics (language sign and the operation of the language association, The concept of the word, case, pledge and ergative design), 3) a formal description of the meaning (strict deployment of semanthem, the standardization of semanthop, the decomposition adequacy, the principle of the maximum block), 4) the intelligent-combatory dictionary (with samples of complete vocabulary), 5) dependencies in Language, especially syntactic dependencies (the criteria for establishing syntactic dependencies in the phrase) are formulated. Chapter 6 briefly characterizes the possible role of linguistics meaning-text in the life of the human community. The Appendix provides a list of the surfactant relations of the Russian language. There is a subject-thematic pointer with a glossary where short definitions of the concepts used are given
