After all, it is very important to have a solid guideline and milestones of this ascent, in order not to go astray, skillfully and competently overcome the obstacles that are inevitably arising on the way to God, always see the ultimate goal and methods of its achievement, or at least ways of approaching it. 30 steps of “ladder” teach us to fight not only sins, but also with passions nesting inside us, educate and nurture virtues in us, and help us fight spiritual impurity.
