A documentary story about an outstanding intelligence officer, Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Kuznetsov, who operated in the capital of the occupied by the Germans city of Rovno under the name and in the form of Oberleutnant of the Wehrmacht Paul Zibert.
For this story, the author was awarded the K. Simonov Medal by the International Association of Writers of Battle and Marine Literature, established on December 20, 2000, as well as the award of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation. In this expanded and supplemented edition, the writer used a multitude of previously classified materials from the archives of the Russian Federal Security Service.
