In the early 1950s, the conflict between China and the Republic of Korea escalated into a full-scale war. World leaders, the USSR and the USA, were drawn into the fighting. Former allies were now battling each other in the Korean skies. Ace pilot Captain Pavel Kolesnikov was shot down during one of the combat missions and taken prisoner by the Americans.
