Kondratiev waves. Cyclic dynamics in the past and present. Yearbook

This publication is the fifth release of the annual Kondratiev Waves. It has a subtitle "cyclic dynamics in the past and present." Analysis of cycles of different durations is the most important theme of our annual. This topic is still relevant, since cyclicality, no matter how hard they tried to defeat it in the twentieth century (and some of them even very successful), nevertheless, is still an inevitable attribute of economic development. And still the aphorism of K. Jugus remains true that a crisis is a consequence of previous prosperity.
Unfortunately, today the cycles are in lowering phases, which, on the one hand, cannot but disturb, and on the other, gives a powerful impulse to study their mechanisms to better resist economic vibrations.
Articles of the first section of this issue, which is called "Analysis of economic dynamics", is devoted to the laws and features of economic dynamics of both medium -term and long -wave. The section "Heritage" becomes already traditional. This section includes the insufficiently well -known but valuable work of N. D. Kondratyev "The controversial issues of the world economy and crisis (response to our critics), which was published in 1923. In the third section (" Reviews"), a review of the famous scientist J. . A. Goldstone on the recently published English monograph "Great Divergence and Great Convergence. A Global Perspective "(" Great Divergence and Great Convergence: Global Perspective ") Finally, in the Kondratyevskaya Encyclopedia section, we publish articles from the future encyclopedia.
Almanac will be useful to economists and social scholars, a wide range of readers interested in the problems of the past, present and future world economics and globalization
