This fairy tale told Haim Nahman Bialik (1873-1934), the most famous Jewish poet of the XX century, who wrote in Hebrew. He was born in a small town in Ukraine in a pious Hasidian family, lived in Zhytomyr, Odessa, Berlin, and in 1924 he came to Palestine. Bialik wrote dozens of poetic books, as well as essays about Jewish culture and literature. One of the most important books of Bialik is called "Aggada". This is a collection of fabulous stories and comments from Talmud. In our fairy tale, the Talmudic plots, Jewish and Slavic fairy tales, as well as quotes from biblical books, which tradition attributes to Tsar Solomon, the books of the Proverbs, songs and Ecclesiasta.
