Russia"s relations with Poland over the centuries were not easy. Unfortunately, and now there is little positive in them. It does not add positive and hype along the Katyn, which broke out on the eve of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of our victory in the Great Patriotic War, with a strange catastrophe of the Polish aircraft near Smolensky and confused statements at the highest level. It seems that certain forces, both in Poland and in Russia, do not need truth in this matter.
The Book of Publicist Polystologists V.N. Schweda should contribute to mutual understanding between Russia and Poland, the establishment of friendly relations between the Russian and Polish peoples.
Based on the deep analysis of archival documents, testimonies concerning the death of Polish prisoners of war in Soviet territory, the author convincingly proves that the final point in Katin is premature. There are many ambiguities here, although some conclusions can be objectively made now
