The fact that the dawn at the North Pole happens once a year, but it is incredibly beautiful. Finally, that the main thing is both in the expedition and in general in life - a faithful friend and unbending perseverance.
The book is surprisingly simple, fun and interesting tells the children about complex geographical concepts. From it, the reader learns that in the Arctic the most dangerous, as the people of antiquity imagined the North Pole and how modern extreme polar expeditions pass.
