It would seem that Karl Bryullov"s biography and creativity are well known to fans of painting. However, the author was able to create a picture of the artist"s life in her "musical" integrity and with some constantly repeating motifs - the fear of time, diseases that marked the critical life lights, repeating the iconic "women"s names and women"s" Bryllovski types. The artist who lived in St. Petersburg in the complex era of Nikolai I, was distinguished by a stubborn thirst for personal freedom and a sense of his own right, which inherited his subsequent generations of Russian creative intelligentsia
