Nikolai Mikhailovich Karamzin is a great Russian historian and writer, reformer of domestic literature. He introduced into the Russian language the letter E, the immortal story of the poor Lisa not only laid the beginning of the new literary direction - sentimentalism, but also determined the further ways of the development of domestic literature. However, the chief labor of the whole of his life is considered to be the twelve history of the Russian state, a mobility work, in which the author for the first time in its entirety revealed a large-scale picture of our past before readers. The famous historian and writer Vladimir Muravyev not only deeply investigated the literary and historical works of the palace historography, but also showed the amazing modernity of many comments and findings of Karamzin.
