The manual presents modern data on the mechanism of migration of lymphoid cells from the bloodstream to tissues, the main groups of receptors regulating the migration of lymphoid cells are considered, and the representation of receptors of these groups on natural killer (NK) cells is determined. The functions of NK cells during pregnancy are described, the functional and phenotypic properties of trophoblast cells are examined, and the interaction of NK cells with trophoblast cells during pregnancy is shown. The manual is intended for senior students of medical and biological faculties of universities, clinical residents, and postgraduates.
