Among the titans of Renaissance, the great Italian Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) was undoubtedly the most versatile, differing from other geniuses of Renaissance, a truly space scale of interests, knowledge, searches and discoveries. He remained in the history of culture primarily as a brilliant artist and a sculptor, but he did not bypass and the glory of an outstanding scientist who enriched in many uncrowable observations almost all the areas of knowledge of his era and a much overwhelming time with insightful guesses. The brightest representative of the new, experimental natural science, Leonardo left in mathematics, anatomy, mechanics, hydraulic engineering, military art and even an aircraft plant no less noticeable trace than in theory and history of art
