Journey into the world of English. Grades 3-4. Working educational program of extracurricular activities

The course of extracurricular activities "travel to the world of English" is designed in accordance with the requirements of GEF to the organization of extracurricular activities in elementary school. The goal of the course is the communicative and psychological adaptation of younger students to the English language, creating a basis for expanding the knowledge base, competencies, practical skills, immersion into the world of language and language culture in a psychologically relaxing situation. The diverse tasks of the course are designed to expand the horizons of the training, to form the basis of communicative skills, wake up interest in learning English, thereby creating fertile ground for further successful and effective classes in the lessons. The tasks presented in different forms are equipped with illustrations, small blocks of cognitive material.
The course is designed for 35 classes for third-graders (it can also be used in the 4th grade), one lesson per week. It should be noted that the classes of the proposed course, besides the subject matter, contribute to the formation of meta-delta skills, develop the ability to interact with others, to receive and competently systematize information, etc. The final lessons of the course form the basic skills of project activities (preparation of the presentation, conference, competition).
This manual is an educational program - addressed to English teachers working in elementary school, and methodologists. Brief audio recommendations will help the teacher to optimally organize work with students, and the thematic plan is to structure the educational process.
The complex consists of an individual schoolboy notebook, which we recommend using in the classes to each student in class, and manuals for teachers. Notebook for students contains all the necessary material for classes at this rate
