In the center of the proposed readers of the study, there is a creative heritage of the prominent representative of the Christian humanistic thought of the Renaissance of John Kolket (1467-1519) A number of existing images in historiography, according to the author, are distorted by the intellectual and spiritual appearance of the river. An attempt to clean it from the layers" of various interpretations is the rod of this book. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the relationship of the intellectual to ancient culture, Christian texts, the historical and philosophical thought of the Renaissance, the ideas about the relationship of a river with Martilio Ficino and Erasmus Rotterdam are corrected. The monograph reveals the specificity of its theological views on the key to Protestantism to the problems of justifying the faith, the divine predestination and freedom of will, papal supremacy, analyzed by the project of church reform, the complex of problems relating to the rings towards the heresy is investigated.
