The English publication of the collected works of John Golsourcy (1866-1933), released in the 70s of the last century, consists of 20 volumes, although, obviously, it does not accommodate the entire heritage of the writer, who wrote 27 novels, about 20 plays, more than 40 stories during his life And stories. Golsourcy, the hallmark of the world fame and the Nobel Prize, was the Cycle of Romanov "Saga about Forsytes" and related works. In the center of the story is a chronicle of several generations of a rich London family, a Radier, which is divided into separate plot lines with its intrigues, "skeletons in the closet", happy interchanges and unhappy finals. According to the drama of the plot and the intensity of romantic passions, the works of Golsources rightly put on a par with the novels of masters such as Maupassant and Zola.
