This book is the unique anthology of Folklore of Eastern Europe. The basis for it was the meeting of Efim Rayaz, who dedicated more than half a century a study of written sources, and the main thing - the recording of oral traditions and legends, who still existed among those for whom Idish was a native language. The huge folklore layer on this leaning language reached us only in the records of the district and, accordingly, only from this collection is available, which has already been translated into several European languages.
